Does Freak Ink charge per hour or per project?

We charge per project. Depending on the size, detail, and colours involved, we will provide you with an estimate for your tattoo. This ensures transparency and helps you plan your budget.

What is Freak Ink's shop minimum?

Our shop minimum for any tattoo at Freak Ink is $120. This covers setup costs, materials, and a portion of the artist's time, even for small pieces.

Can I use numbing cream for my tattoo appointment?

Absolutely! We want our clients to be as comfortable as possible during the process. If pain is a concern, there's definitely a solution. While not guaranteed to work for everyone, feel free to ask us for recommendations on trusted numbing cream brands that may work for you.

What should I do *before* my tattoo appointment at Freak Ink?

To ensure a smooth and comfortable experience, make sure you get a good night's sleep, eat a nourishing meal, and stay well-hydrated before coming to your appointment. Also, wear appropriate and comfortable clothing depending on the tattoo placement – you can even come in your pyjamas if you want!

What are the aftercare instructions for my new tattoo?

Comprehensive aftercare instructions and a detailed explanation will be provided to you immediately after your tattoo session at Freak Ink. Keep in mind that specific aftercare can vary for everyone depending on your individual skin type, and the style and placement of your new tattoo.
